Bio: Rune Elvegård is an Associate Professor at the Center for Crisis Management and Collaboration – Nordlab, Nord University Business School. He works with the strategic development of emergency preparedness lab, design of emergency preparedness exercise concepts and evaluation. He conducts research on Arctic maritime emergency preparedness, exercise design, complexity and nuclear safety preparedness. Rune has many years of sea going experience, pedagogical and maritime Arctic competence education background.
Bio: Natalia Andreassen is a professor at the Center for Crisis Management and Collaboration – Nordlab, Nord University Business School. Natalia works with research on emergency response organization, collaboration and learning, maritime and nuclear preparedness in the Arctic. She is lead of the UArctic Thematic Network on Arctic Safety and Security and External Liaison to Arctic Council Working Group on Emergency Preparedness, Prevention and Response. Natalia has a Ph.D. from Nord University and a researcher background from the High North Centre focusing at maritime emergency preparedness in the Arctic.
