Dr. Kristel Toomsalu, Associate Doctor<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tDr. Kristel Toomsalu was born in Tallinn, Estonia and moved to Toronto at the age of 12. She graduated with Honours from the University of Waterloo, School of Optometry in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees and joined the clinic in West Toronto, Bloor West Village in August 2004.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tDr. Toomsalu is excited to be practicing in the tight-knit community of Bloor West Village and would like to continue providing the state of art eye care that this clinic has been providing for years. She has broad experience in family eye care, including pediatric eye examination, contact lens fitting, eye surgery co-management, adult eye care, diabetic and post-cataract surgery. She believes in listening to her patients, so she can best address their needs.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tIn school Kristel was involved with many projects, including an eyecare mission to Mexico, where a handful of students saw a few hundred patients. She also completed an internship with ophthalmologists in Tartu, Estonia to get a better understanding of technical language, in order to better serve the Estonian community of Toronto.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
